I'm surprised there is any jail time at all actually. Why jail? I mean she is hardly a dangerous offender and what is she going to do? Repeat her crime? She should have to do something more eye for an eye, like fund scholarships in several states for kids with good grades but financial troubles.

Law enforcement wanted her to do serious jail time for breaking the law. It’s not the degree of threat they are concerned about but copycats.

I guess - seems a bit spendy taxpayer wise.

It’s not happening.  When did they start  worrying about taxpayers when spending?

That seems fair.

Miss Lori was HUGE offender, she spent $500,000 more or less to directly bribe a place for her offspring, no real comparison except that both took advantage by way of wealth and position.

And she and hubby are fighting the charges. Felicity played that part much smarter.

She is in serious trouble.
