No, they all hunker in an apt and the heat builds up with periodic 'news' reports on the radio.

Don't think I remember that one, then. The one I'm thinking about has a woman and her landlady in an apartment with a heat wave outside. She's a painter, and there are paintings of the heat wave all over the apt. A man invades, then is driven off, and in the end it turns out she's got a high fever, and it's actually an apocalyptic blizzard outside.
