Passover dates 2018

This is as posted in Sighted Moon newsletter.

"We have been checking all the known people who look for the moon and as we had only one witness with Roy and we were about to postpone the Holy Days by one day. But now a Yotam Marcus has sighted it giving us a second witness. And I know Him very well and we used to have some great discussions. So we now have our two witnesses, both of whom I trust very much and here are all the dates for each day of Passover.

The Fast of the First Born also known as the Last Supper and the Foot Washing will take place starting after Sabbath March 31, 2018

Sunday, April 1, 2018, will be the Preparation day for the Passover when the lambs are killed. Yehshua would die on this day at 3 PM.

Sunday evening after the sun has set is when the Passover meal is eaten. This is the night the Death Angel Passed Over Israel

Sunday evening and Monday day April 2, 2018, will be the High Holy Day of the 1st Day of Unleavened Bread. All leaven should be out of your house by this time. So start deleavening your homes your cars and offices spaces now. Don’t forget under the couch cushions and to empty the vacuum cleaner.

The evening of March 24 and March 25 Pray for your families. See note below.

Sunday day is the 14th of Nisan Starting the night before at Sunset Saturday.

The 7 Days of Unleavened Bread begin on Monday, April 2 and go to Sunday, April 8, 2018. You are to eat unleavened Bread for each of these 7 days.

Sunday, April 8, 2018, is the last day of Unleavened Bread and is a High Holy Day. It is also the day the Wave Sheaf is offered. This is the day Yehshua would have ascended to Heaven. Wave Sheaf day is the Sunday that falls during the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. It is from this Sunday, April 8, 2018, that we begin to count our 50 days to Shavuot.

Shavuot then is Sunday, May 27, 2018"

Church or Synagogue:

Church or Synagogue: Which Would Jesus Choose?

Most theologians and biblical scholars agree that Jesus lived and died as a dedicated practicing Jew, who never proposed a new religion.

Yes — Jesus fiercely criticized the Sanhedrin (the ruling body of Judaism) and other Jewish leaders for hypocrisy and for their pretentious embrace of formalism — the do’s, don’ts, and public displays of piety. These, he said, did not represent the spiritual core of Judaism. Far from rejecting Judaism, however, Jesus called for a deeper and more authentic understanding of the faith.

Despite the theological consensus about Jesus’ beliefs, a single passage in the Gospel of Matthew has been seized upon to reach the conclusion that Jesus defected from Judaism and planned  a new religion in a new building called the church: “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18).

In fact, the popular Christian interpretation of that passage has been widely debated and questioned.

First, the word “church,” derived from the Greek, merely means assembly hall. And the only religious assembly hall for Jews other than the Temple in Jerusalem was the synagogue. At the time, there was no concept among Jesus and his Jewish followers of a new religion — nor of a new structure in which to worship.

The “church on the rock” most likely referred to the new synagogue that would radiate spiritual Judaism.

If Jesus was proposing a new religion in a building other than a synagogue, as many believe, why didn’t his disciples know that? And behavior demonstrates more accurately what confusing words often obfuscate. After the crucifixion, Jesus’ disciples continued to worship and teach in the Temple in Jerusalem. They were Jews who believed that Jesus was the prophesied Messiah. Had there been even a hint that they were trying to create a new religion, they wouldn’t have been allowed to enter the Temple.

His debate about a new building called a church only causes confusion.  Yashuah's words of calling his people a 'church' when properly stripped of their Greek ignorance are a continuation of the Torah.

In the Torah the message is that Yahowah is creating an assembly of His chosen people.  A nation, not a religion or means to enslave people to the unhappiness of being enslaved and dominated by false gods.  Freedom, enriched and fulfilled lives and happiness come through obedience to Torah and faith in Yahowah.

Works of Antichrist

The Roman catholic church of pagan beliefs and its harlot daughters of xtianity have always been filled with hatred toward Yahowah and His covenant people.  In their latest attack the pope wants to change the Biblical example of how to pray that Messiah Yashua  taught to His disciples.

Pope Francis said the Roman Catholic Church should adopt a better translation of the phrase 'lead us not into temptation' in the Italian version of the Lord's Prayer.  He said the current phrasing, which is the same in English and many other languages, suggests that it is God who has a choice to lead us into temptation or not. 'That is not a good translation, because it speaks of a God who induces temptation',' the pope said in a television interview on Wednesday night. Francis said the Catholic Church in France had opted for a different phrasing, which worked around this particular issue.
