Skunkville Saga Rumination

Unusual adventures & awkward situations & miscommunications seem to plague and/or delight an elderly couple who seem to know how to roll with the punches

The later lives of iconic residents in a nondescript American town. This blog novel currently has 2 MILLION words served up as 2,000 nail-biting quick-reading hard-laffing episodes, its 2,000,000 words more than ANY OTHER easily-obtainable novel. KIRKUS REVIEWS (see review on Kirkus site) compares SKUNKVILLE to the works of literary geniuses James Joyce, Thomas Pynchon, and John Barth. SKV Has attracted ~110,000 reader visits to date just on Delphi, plus an equally large number of additional readers on a diversity of other sites now no longer relied on by Skunkville.

MY APOLOGIES TO DELPHI, READERS

The individuals responsible for all the hacking of Skunkville are now being identified and they are NOT anyone associated with Delphi Forums.  While Delphi might be criticised for not finding and resolving the problem themselves, and I finally hired my PC/Internet genius 'Bruno', whom has never let me down, no matter what the problem, to look into this baffling case of a Delphi breakdown that seemed to only be affecting my work (to the best of my knowledge at the time).....

So to me, Delphi seemed to be losing control of destructive interlopers, whatever their kookie motivation might be.
While the lost Skunkville episodes may never be recovered, just knowing I won't have to deal with this issue for a while (i.e., until the next hack-in!) gives me pause for relief, since I never/ever have had any blogging problem like this latest hacking before my very eyes, helpless to stop it....

I believe the hacked material is lost, save me trying to recreate it from memory, which I doubt if I'll try...  I am really sorry to my readers that this disruptiom has been going on for weeks if not longer, picking up steam until it 'blew its lid'.  I am also very sorry that I immediately  wrongly  blamed Delphi and the many born-again Christians who use Delphi's services appropriately on the sight...
