YOJ Wk 09 - Goodnight Moon

"Goodnight Moon" is a revered children's favorite. At just 15 months, my granddaughter  loves it, and has a moon night light. The beautiful blue of this moonstone was just too good to pass up, and the . The band you will probably recognize from the labradorite pendant I made for my husband - it is the same weave. The moonstone cab is caught in a frame of silver beads and small faceted labradorite rounds that catch the light.

The design lets light into the cab from all directions, so it can give off that great blue refraction. Although this ring is not yet perfected, (the connection to the band needs a bit of thinking) I am very pleased with the result! The pics show different views, as well as before and after LOS. Although it was pretty before, I'm  totally happy with the  patinated version!

Please leave comments if you wish - it is always good to hear what others think, good or bad. Ideas for improvement are also welcome.

Care for yourselves gently, and follow any creative urge to fruition! I'm sure you'll be glad you did!
