Reality shows have become rather predictable... so I was thinking of something to do that was different...
Let's take politicians... say 16 of them... take them OUT of their comfort zone, strip them of their assets, and place them in a less than luxurious setting. Some will have transportation, some will not. How they get around will depend largely on how they spend their meager monthly allotment of $1000.00.
They will live independently, responsible for their own utility bills and rent, which will be determined in challenges. They will never know from month to month what it will be. They must find enough money to eat on, and show a budget for the month.
Weekly events may give them a bonus of some sort ...either cash or prizes, or it may give them a boner which would take away cash unexpectedly. Some may get company for extended periods of time which will increase the bills including food. Some may have a death in the family which will require a cash deduction. Some may acquire a handicap and face incredible medical bills and medications, or major car repair.
Players may sell their belongings to extend their stay. They MUST have at least one meal a day. You must take at least 1/2 of your meds to stay alive in the game. You will have points deducted from your "life score" for failure to eat, or take meds on a routine basis.
The player with the most points at the end of 90 days wins the game... prize?....
A better understanding of what millions of Americans deal with all the time!
