So, right, at 48 years old I'm a bit long in the tooth to be running off in the Tardis, right?  Wrong....if that big beautiful box landed in my front yard right now I'd be off and running.

First stop would be to go get Rose back because she and the Doctor belong together.  What, did you think I wanted him for myself?  Get real...he's cute, but he's young enough to be my son...well, at 900 plus years old, not really, but I look my age and he doesn't.

I've been watching the Doctor on and off since the 70's.  Can't say I was a huge fan of Tom Baker and the Doctors that followed.  But Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant and the new crop of writers have brought something new to the show that geeks like me can't resist. 

And to those who have followed the show since the very first incarnation of the Doctor...whoo hoo, give yourselves a pat on the back, because you were right and this show is great.  To those who just don't get it, sorry blokes, you'll just have to do without.

Brilliant, just bloody Brilliant.

Please, oh please BBC, keep it coming.  And keep doing it your way and don't let any yank tell you to do it differently.  I mean, just look at what we keep doing to the shows we steal from you....yuck.
