The modern political nation of Israel is in the grip of a five year long drought.  In the US we are suffer drought and huge forest fires.  Is there a cause?  Yes there is.

Lev 26:2  Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Jehovah.  :3  If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; :4  then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Notice the reference to the Sabbath.  Even in modern Israel moslems reject the seventh day in favor of the sixth day.  The xtians honor the first day and establish churches full of idols in violation of Yahowah's commands.

Lev 26:14  But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; :15  and if ye shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhor mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant; :16  I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.  :17  And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemies: they that hate you shall rule over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.  

Psa 28:4 Give to them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their practices; as is the work of their hands, give to them, repay their deeds to them.

We could have avoided all of this, but we choose the way of false religions, false gods, and refuse to repent and be blessed rather than cursed.
