If you have a the time, the inclination or are just plain bored and want something to inspire you, I dare you to take a peek at www.robinhoodfund.com

Robinhood Fund (RHF) is in the business of granting wishes and right now they are awarding $1000.00 in wish grants every week; $500.00 for the top nice wish and $500.00 for the top naughty wish.
I have been a member now for nearing 3 weeks, I think, and through this site, I have had my faith in humanity restored.

It lightens the heart to see such an out-pouring of generosity, yet at the same time it saddens the heart to see so many people in need.
It’s sometimes hard to choose who is in more need, so the creators of the Robinhood Fund leave that job up to you, the public.
The wishes are granted through the voting system. The one nice and one naughty wish that have the most votes at the end of the wishing cycle are granted their wish amount, up to the allowed $500.00.

You as voters also have the option to donate directly to a particular wish and win or lose that person will receive the donation amount made to their specific wish.

 The rules have changed though;

It used to be that the top wish would get the $500 and any monies in the donation pot to their wish, but now if your donations meet or exceed your wish amount you will only get the donations so that the next top wish of the week can be granted.
 I think that is a FABULOUS idea, sharing the wealth is most definitely the way to go when it comes to granting wishes.

My only concern is that people will up the ante on their wishes and I hope that I am proven wrong. I sincerely want to hold onto my hope that we as humans are inherently generous and not inherently greedy, so, if you are going to join, please remember to play fair and share the wealth okay? Think before you go off half cocked and make a wish, think about what it is you HONESTLY need to make that wish come true.

I have a wish in the next round, it starts in 3 days. Mine is a naughty wish, and I’m not going to link it here. If I win, I win, if I don’t, I don’t.

The difference between naughty and nice should be clear. A Nice wish is a NEED, and a Naughty wish is a WANT.

I want a new laptop. Wait let me rephrase that, I want a laptop, not a new laptop; I don’t have a laptop so any laptop would be a new laptop.
I don’t NEED a new laptop, admittedly it would be nice to have a new laptop, or as I have stated ANY laptop for that matter. My wish amount is for $500.00 and should I win every little red penny will go towards a laptop whether new or refurbished.

Anyhow, before I go off on a babblefest, go to www.robinhoodfund.com and contribute to making wishes come true!
