Knittin' & Purlin'

Today I finished the 9th square of the GNAA that I started about two years ago.  It's an ongoing project that I like to work on now and then.  There's 24 squares all together.  I'll start on the 10th square within the next few days.  Meanwhile I'm knitting on another braided scarf--this one is purple and will be for one of my aunts.  

This afternoon my hubby, our oldest son & a friend went out for a skate on the river in front of our home.  It was a perfect day for it.  But what a temperature change we've had:  yesterday morning when I went to work the temperature was minus 21 deg C and tonight it's plus 2 deg.  Unfortunately we're getting freezing rain, which I hope is over with before tomorrow.  (A friend & I are planning on a little shopping trip.)  I think that there might be a wool store involved...  :)

 

   Here I am again today and I finished my pink braided scarf!  I think that it turned out very well.  I had knit a blue one for a friend for Christmas and unfortunately hers was the "practice" one.  I think that I've improved with this pink one.  I was a little rusty with my braiding skills.  I used my new Rosewood needles and they were wonderful to knit with!  My dream is to own an entire set!!  *SMILE*        

Well, here I am trying to learn about Blogs.  I never even knew what that meant.  To be honest, I don't know what Blog stands for.  I'll ask my computer expert--my youngest son. 

I'm going to try to write a little something in here every now & then.  Maybe post about some of my knitting projects as I go along.
