We Got It!

That seed snow was true to its name.  Fifteen inches fell here in my neighborhood and it sure was beautiful.  The first day I was snowed in I spent scanning letters.   I finished one binder and now there are two more to go.  Hopefully, it does not snow and that is the reason that I finish the job.  Thursday was the first day we were able to get out of our neighborhood.  It always takes a long time for our roads to be cleared.

Today is Sunday and we still have snow on the ground.  Hopefully, it is not seed snow.

The historical society had the quarterly meeting today (postponed from last Sunday).  It was held at Dellwood Plantation.  My daughter's wedding reception was held here and it is just beautiful even in winter.   Mrs. Hauler spoke about the history of the house and John Winston Jones the first owner of the home.

About the Author
Angie (AGWILDERMAN)The joy of my life is my family - and the latest additions to my family are my grandsons. I'm an avid genealogist a "wanna be beader" and gardener. Always on the quest to learn about something, in online classes is where you will find me. At the present time, DNA is the hot topic. The past several years have been very hectic as I was regent a  DAR chapter. We are in the process of organizing a new chapter so busyness continues.  These positions have taken me far from the things that interest me most - genealogical research - except for my family but has introduced me to many new people and opportunities.
