Spring Cleaning (Outside)

A tree service came through and the foreman gave me an estimate.  I don't usually hire people like that but I connected with him.  As he described what his crew would do it was a lot like what I had been wanting to have done - removing limbs from trees, trimming the weeping cherry, removing a tree that was growing into the cherry, cutting down a dead tree.  They did a really good job and cleaned up the yard nicely.  This spur of the moment decision did work out.   We have lots of trees.  Believe it or not, we live in a neighborhood that is a bird sanctuary.

I'm cleaning out the garden areas too.  It's time to plant vegetables and flowers.  One day soon I need to get to the garden center.  I noticed that the dianthus is already blooming,  It is growing in a pot on the deck.  It survived the winter.   The tomatoes will be in planters on the deck.

April showers bring May flowers.    I'd better hurry and get my plants out; April is almost over and the plants will have missed the rains.

About the Author
Angie (AGWILDERMAN)The joy of my life is my family - and the latest additions to my family are my grandsons. I'm an avid genealogist a "wanna be beader" and gardener. Always on the quest to learn about something, in online classes is where you will find me. At the present time, DNA is the hot topic. The past several years have been very hectic as I was regent a  DAR chapter. We are in the process of organizing a new chapter so busyness continues.  These positions have taken me far from the things that interest me most - genealogical research - except for my family but has introduced me to many new people and opportunities.
