This has been a busy month but This weekend was great. Friday we celebrated Lukas' fifth birthday with the family. It was a long day with Tyler here all day but it was fun watching him, Alyssa, Emma, and Zena play a board game - Hook.
Today, Betty picked me up around 7:30am and away we went along with Jan and Tamara to Stratford Hall for a lecture by Nancy Carter-Crump on Hearthside Cooking and a tour of Stratford Hall. The day culminated with a four-course colonial dinner: cream of mushroom soup, stuffed loin of pork, apple sauce, asparagus, spinach, beans, squash, sweet potatoes in Madiera, salad, and dessert which included caramel ice cream. What a super day!
I missed the Genealogy Round Table today but do know that at least one new couple attended today and possibly a second. I look forward to hearing about today's meeting.
There are a number of genealogy irons in the fire but I have been swamped with a number of projects and haven't been able to finish the projects.
