The Serpent Was Made in God's Image?!

What's wrong with this logic?

All men are made in God’s image. (Genesis 1:27; 5:3; 1 Corinthians 11:7)
The serpent was a man. (William Branham, “Condemnation by Representation,” sermon #60-1113)
Therefore, the serpent was made in God’s image.
